Legal information
Creator Terms
Effective: August 30, 2026
These Creator Terms supplement the Terms of Use for anyone who publishes, sells, streams, or manages educational content on StudioLearn.
Creator responsibilities
You must provide accurate identity, tax, payout, course, and pricing information; maintain the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload; and keep published content reasonably accurate, safe, and accessible to enrolled students.
- Do not use content you do not own or have permission to license.
- Disclose material requirements, risks, prerequisites, and commercial relationships.
- Do not make deceptive income, health, credential, or guaranteed-result claims.
- Respond reasonably to student and platform requests concerning your courses.
Licence to operate and promote courses
You retain ownership of your content. You grant StudioLearn a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, encode, reproduce, display, distribute, translate, create technical adaptations of, and use excerpts and thumbnails from the content to deliver and market your courses and the platform. The licence continues as needed to serve existing enrollments, keep legal records, and operate backups, subject to law.
Pricing, fees, refunds, and payouts
StudioLearn may collect customer payments, deduct disclosed platform and payment-processing fees, account for taxes where applicable, and transfer the remaining amount according to the dashboard terms. Payout availability depends on successful provider onboarding and risk checks.
Refunds, chargebacks, fraud losses, reserves, taxes, corrections, and legal obligations may reduce, delay, or reverse payouts. Historical transaction records may remain after course or account removal.
Students and continuity
Removing or unpublishing a course does not automatically end obligations to existing students. We may preserve access, require replacement materials, issue refunds, or withhold related payouts when reasonably necessary to protect students and comply with law.
Moderation and removal
StudioLearn may review, restrict, remove, or decline content that violates law, intellectual-property rights, safety rules, quality requirements, payment-provider rules, or platform policies. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination.
Independent relationship
Creators are independent users and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of StudioLearn. Creators are responsible for their own business registrations, licences, insurance, taxes, and professional obligations.
